Wulf Schleip

Bonn, Germany

Born in 1968, Bonn, Germany

Special interest
Besides my general interest in all kinds of sciences, I am interested in all aspects of Herpetology such as Ecology and Evolution, Physiology and Morphology, Biology, and Systematics of snakes, especially Pythons. I am also very interested in biogeography.
My favorite boid snakes are definitely White-Lipped Pythons (genus Leiopython). As an amateur herpetologist, I try to study these snakes in captivity. However, little is known about the ecology and physiology of these beautiful pythons, and they are yet only rarely kept in captivity.
